Hello,

 

My name is Stuart and I have been photographing since the travelling days of my 20s. It seemed a natural addition to my backpack and was there to capture scenes that caught my attention. I would of course take the touristy photos but was also drawn to views that were unnoticed, interesting details, sometimes unattractive. I believe travelling allowed me to be a new viewer to every place I visited. I would be excited and hyper-aware of this brand new place and felt compelled to photograph it. I still try to be a new visitor everyday.

I am proud to have had my photographs published in multiple books written by    David Meara based in and around Oxford, Cornwall and Norfolk, with a forthcoming book about Berkshire to be published later this year. 

 

Away from the camera I am a keen swimmer (as long as it’s front-crawl), having completed a 5km swim in Lake Windermere and a 10km swim in Loch Lomond.
